What is the minimum group size?
Minimum 20 participants for group rate eligibility

What are the policies for reservations and deposits?
Minimum non-refundable deposit: Groups under 30 - $50; Groups over 30 - $100. No deposit refunds for cancellations.

What is the chaperone policy?
Chaperones must be at least 21 years of age and must stay with their group at all times. One chaperone is required for every 10 children. For Dinosaur Crossing visits, additional chaperones and junior counselors must pay admission fee. Indoor activities are free to observe; participating chaperones must pay fee.

Are activities handicap accessible?
Indoor activities are wheelchair accessible. Handicapped children may have chaperone help in Jackpot Mine or Thunder Creek. Note: large wheeled strollers and wheelchairs are recommended for the natural packed gravel trails outdoors.

Is a staff member assigned to our group?
You will have a trained instructor to assist you with any indoor activities. Your outdoor adventure is self guided. Staff members are available for assistance.

Are bagged lunches allowed?
Bagged lunches may be brought inside the Dinosaur Crossing area and enjoyed at our picnic tables on a first come first serve basis. Groups are responsible for storage of bagged lunches, coolers, etc. and making sure all trash is thrown in the provided receptacles. Note: Bagged lunches may not be eaten indoors.

What is needed on the day of the visit?
Comfortable clothing, walking shoes and bottled water for the trails and Indoor Activities. Water shoes or flip flops are required on the SPLASHPAD® and bathing suits and towels are recommended.

How long is an average visit?
Dinosaur Crossing is 1-3 hours and the SPLASHPAD® is 1-2 hours. Allow 30 minutes for each Indoor Activity.

What if it rains?
Dinosaur Crossing is open rain or shine; the SPLASHPAD® is open weather permitting. Please note: deposit refunds are not issued for cancellations; however, we will work with you to reschedule due to severe weather.

May we leave and re-enter the park?
Yes, everyone entering the park will receive a bracelet, which allows re-entry on that day.
